What is a Puka, and why does it have a shell?

May 17th, 2009 in The Other Place

Puka is Hawaiian for “hole” and often gets used to describe a naturally-occurring hole in the middle of the cone snail shell. These holes make suberb portals for dimensional travel, however they are generally very small and need to be strung together to create a shift shield when worn around the neck and wrist.

As this satellite view shows, giant Puka shells can be used to create larger portals.

Journey Through Unmarked Portal

April 30th, 2009 in The Other Place

Finally I have been able to recover some images I took while on an interdimensional time traveling expedition I went on with The Pirate.

We visited many timelines and alternate realities.

With the help of The Pirate and his knowledge of unmarked black holes and portals we found a large sky portal, which we used as our main form of travel.

Reports from a training day for potential dimensional shift agents. Some of them had some background experience, but they were all a little disorientated from their first translation into this zone.

Imhotep

I was a bit nervous about being away from home, but also excited about going to the training camp. I arrived on my saucer and wondered when anyone else would turn up, or if it was just me. I wasn’t really sure what we were training for.

There was a light breeze blowing sand across the courtyard, it looked like a disused military base, but it was surrounded by jungle. I wandered off into it to see if the others were there. I couldn’t find them, but then came down a very very very thin metal tunnel. It was quite a squeeze. I was excited to see a pyramid there, it reminded me of home.

The idols of this world appear to be monstrous beings with no pupils and grey faces, who crave bloodsports. It seems as though the spirits that reside here have the power of flight, that was not granted to the larger inhabitats. It may be that the hierarchy is order of size, the smaller the better. Another means to travel appears to be within transparent spheres (To reduce friction). Wingless dwellers are carried in non spheric triangular transport units.

THERE ARE MANY POISON TRAPS! NOT SAFE! BE VERY CAREFUL! IT’S NOT WATER

This all seems quite dangerous. Are you all safe? I hope you’re all safe. I think this is secure. Secure with transparent barriers. Those are comfortable. I found a potential exit, and will mark it for future reference.

When I arrived, everything seemed very dry, so I immediately went in search of water. I managed to find something that looked like water, but it was made of wires, and I was concerned that electricity might not be very good for me. I tried to get away, but was caught in a net for a long time! I managed to escape and finally found some water, everything seemed a lot clearer once I was completely submerged.

I emerged from a portal, to find that this land was very unusual. I wasn’t sure how I got there nor how to return. However there appeared to be plenty of ways to help me get around. It even appeared that my relatives were in this strange land. I looked around carefully, getting braver as I went. I was a little troubled by their overcomplicated ‘technology’, but although I got a bit stuck, I managed to re-emerge into my own world.

The Basics of Time Travel-Extracts

February 16th, 2009 in The Operators

Extracts from Dr. C.Locker’s The Basics of Time Travel Chapter I

“Time travel skills vary depending on how far through or across time you travel, the further away from your originated time* you go, the greater your expertise in time travel needs to be. Not only because of the endless knowledge of history or the skill in anthropology, physics, chemistry etc…needed to predict situations in the future, but also the mental and physical preparation needed to deal with the dramatic time shifts your mind and body has to deal with.
There is no end to to the study of time travel, your knowledge of this subject must be as infinite as time and space itself. You must be in good physical condition to travel regularly. The physically and mentally weak are at risk of becoming subject to injury and disease.
Those who are under the naive impression that time travel is something that can be used casually, will only have themselves to blame if they find themselves stuck in the eternal limbo of the matterless void.

*Originated time- The time in which your current physical state (body) became manifest.”

Extracts from Dr. C.Locker’s The Basics of Time Travel Chapter II

It is believed by many in the field of time travel that some time travelers are lucky enough to be born with a gift that enables them to travel without a physical device. These are sometimes referred to as ‘free-travelers’. They are able to connect with the space time continuum purely by the means of their minds. Although they may not be able to literally transpose their existing body into a different time – unless extremely advanced and well practiced in their skills (the event of a free traveller achieving this has only ever been heard of in legend*), the ability to mentally exist in the future or the past is just as valid a method as any other. You may ask ‘how can you affect the environment of the past/future, if you do not physically exist in that time?’. The answer is that these beings can possess an object both animate and inanimate that they can control as perfectly as their own bodies, the ability to possess a living being obviously gives the free traveller visual/audio/sensory experiences and so is the most effective method. As with all time travel, abilities vary. The most skilled beings will be able to occupy and control the body of a human being for a lengthly period. humans are far more difficult to occupy as the gifted being must learn to overcome the existing conscience of the human they wish to possess. More amateur free-travelers usually end up occupying an inanimate object and as thier skills develop, will be able to move that object with their will. Some say this could explain the phenomenam of ghosts and poltergeists, though their is no conclusive evidence, as the whole notion of free-traveling is still under debate. The problem being, that free travelers can only provide evidence of where they have traveled, with their own recounts of the event, they cannot bring physical matter back with them or travel with other people.”

There’s a rabbit hole in my head, when someone comes through it pushes someone else out. Perhaps there are hidden doors, with people hiding that are not displaced, but I’ve never seen them.

The Pookah Comic

January 1st, 2009 in The Changelings, The Family, The Other Place

On the eve of the 31st of December 2008 and the early hours of the morning of the 1st of January 2009, a group of seven were visited by a Changeling or Pookah that took them on a collective journey and told them to record their experiences and let others know about what had happened to them.

It was impossible to write down what happened in words, so the group produced a comic to illustrate what they saw, felt and learned from their journey,
