Tentaclebeak is a teleslime generator.
His long green cattlepiller body has different sized exorchids blooming down the sides.
Glowing green pulsating blobs of teleslime ooze from the flower-like blossoms.
Small colourful beetles scurry over him, collecting the teleslime in little beads between their mandiblehands.
Long and constant processions of the beetles extend from his body in single file, backwards and forwards- taking teleslime to the teleportals.
Rootlike, fractal, they appear almost as part of Tentaclebeak, extending into the woods all around him.

Stories have been told for years about changelings ossifying when they die.
So, how does that work? What is really happening?
Well, those humans who are capable can initially become changelings by performing ritualised animal acts.
When they are fully developed changelings, they can manifest different parts of different animals at the same time, like a kind of ‘cut-up’ mutation. This is called a “Burrough’s” state, and cannot usually be maintained for very long.
Once changelings become accomplished enough, they can leave their bodies behind entirely, and, as they do, they leave behind a wooden or stone form.
Other changelings can still communicate with the disembodied changeling through this stone or dead-wood form.

Zgillz is a mutant proto-amphibian being.
He has lungs and gills like a lungfish and is constantly gulping for air, especially when he tries to speak.

Because he is unused to moving about on land, he needs a walking stick to support his weight.

His skin is grey and smooth.

On hot and dry days, he needs to keep moist when he is out of water or he’ll dry up and die.

He has undergone extensive training by Sufis and Taoist Mystics in all manner of guided meditation techniques and astral projection. He is able to view the future remotely.

Klick-Klack wing is a crow made of metal.  His wings are like knives and his beak is razor sharp. When it rains he has to take cover because he can rust in very wet weather. He has to build a really sturdy nest that conceals him from the elements. He uses his beak to cut things up into tiny pieces.

He likes to collect things, in particular he likes to collect objects that have a meaning, his favourite things are things that remind him of himself, like metal, shiny and sharp objects. But he also likes to look at other things collected by other beings too. He likes to compare his collection with theirs.

In a Potlatch “hierarchical relations within and between clans, villages, and nations, are observed and reinforced through the distribution or sometimes destruction of wealth, dance performances, and other ceremonies. The status of any given family is raised not by who has the most resources, but by who distributes the most resources.” Potlatch
