dark sun yellow bell

August 6th, 2010 in The Changelings, The Other Place

By the bear scratch stump, veins of darkness infesting it, making it crumble.

The Changelings tell tales of The Halter, a force that fixes Changelings, makes them stop being able to change.

We see moss punching through from The Other Place and know this is the place to ring the changes.

We are stopped by something fast and grey, that screams in ten voices.

There is a rusty tree, trying to become iron, as everything does eventually.

In the Moon Dial Sacrifice Ring we walk over the alter to show we are willing to give up our old identities.

Dalby makes a scythe stick antler stone communicator, then hits a log with it.

The antler scythe breaks into four pieces, so he throws the stone and it grows ten times the size, showing us the changeling nest.

As this wood is prone to flooding, we decide to make a Changeling Ark.

Skyhting

June 6th, 2009 in The Other Place

Sky report (exxtract 1)
02/06/09 7.36pm
Very intense sky tonight.
Looks like Jupiter- like we have shifted position into a close orbit around it.
It’s very beautiful.
It feels like the Earth now spins gently around an alien world.
The clouds above have coalesced into almost skull-like faces.

Survivors

February 11th, 2009 in The Other Place

There were only a few of us left. We were trying to get out of an underground room, where the walls were covered with invisible writing that flouresced when a certain light was shone on it. We searched vigilantly, even under furniture, as we needed to work out all the numbers from the puzzles, and add them up to find the code for the door.

We eventually managed it, and were outside in very bright sunlight, everyone looked smooth and beautiful, like we were avatars.
